I always like to look at Jeanette's blog to see what she's up to creative wise. Today she really inspired me so I made this tag in the theme of Steampunk.

I used the paper from Graphic 45 Steampunk Debuntane.. Then I stamped using this Foam Stamp.. How cool is foam stamps.. yuppers we have them at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium Discount Shop . There by Claudia Helmouth. I had never heard of these until one of our Customer bought one and I thought I'd try it. I don't remember the cost but I do remember it was very inexpensive. A few bucks. The dress form, the dots on top right and bottom right were all on the same sheet. Plus there are some birds and other do dads I didn't use this time.. I then tried my new Distress Crackle Paint Rock Candy.. am I in love with this stuff!! I don't know if you can see the shine and the fine crackles.. Way too Cool.. but you have to really adhere your paper well. First I used glossy accents and then when the paper was breaking away from the tag I used my Trusty Arleens Tacky Glue and it held. ..I cut the hindge out with my Cricut.. This hindge is on the Cartridge Pou Potpouri.. Now many people have this Cartridge. I got it with my Cricut when it was some deal on HSN. This gal I know who has every cartridge in the world but this one that they are very valuable.. gee whiz!! LOL

I did that technique I did yesterday with the hindge. The Rusty Enamel Technique. I was going to stamp the bird on it but spaced that out.. ROFL.. I glues the washers on the top of the tag, can you see them? and my ribbon I found in my Stash.. It goes with the tag, see all the dots.. too cool again!!

I guess I played hooky from work this morning. HUH!! LOL.. I have another project I've been working on while I waited for the crackle paint to dry.. will show that soon as I have to cut out a flourish..

Ohhhh guess who is getting the new Vagabond Machine.. Yup me is!! I can't wait.. I ordered it today.. Yup through the shop.. We have them of coarse!! I bought a die the grunge flower.. I had to, I snuck some of our food money to get it.. shhhhhhh.. I am in bigggg trouble!! LOL This is my Valentines present from DH (DUH HUBBY).. not the die the Vagabond Machine.. The die is tomorrows dinner, LOL
