Jeanette has a great challenge going on over at Soartful.. Victorian Amusements. She provided everyone with this image of an old Carousel Horse..
I printed out the horse and then traced it and put it on grunge paper. Then I decided to try this Tim Holtz Technique called "Rusted Enamel".. I inked the tag and then embossed the whole thing.. Then took brown distress ink and rubbed it in with a ink blending took. Wiped off the excess.. I added my horse and then put these crystal all around.. Then I used Liquid Pearls and Crystal Stickles but the damn tag fell out of my hands and smotched everthing. grrrrr.. I tried to fix it and made a bigger mess. "Crying in my Orange Juice".. well anywho it came out way too dark. You can't see how beautiful this technique came out.. and how the crystals are shimmering.. I also added some stickles to the horse but you can't see that either.. what can you see? a dark tag and a damn horse.. Dat's it.. Come on over to the house and I'll show you!! ROFLMAO
I edited the picture some more and it got better. duh
I also added some more embellishments.. I like it much better now.. whew
I'm also entering in a challenge over at Studio L3
The Challenge is on the very technique I tried.. LOL
You should see some of the entries over at Studio L3 wow is all I can say!!
