I have heard from so many gals that I need to be fearless in my painting. I also need to be fearless in my life. I am not. I hold on tight all the time and try to control everything!! and I mean everything!! LOL If I don't let go soon I'm going to burst! so it's about time to just give in and let the dice roll. I have the want so let's see if I can Challenge myself to do just that..
I did let go a little bit in this Journal Spread. I grabbed what ever was on my desk and put it into the spread. Stamps, paper , ink , paint just whatever. This was my end results.

I really like the pops of color. Don't just let go a little bit attack your art with child like abandon. Pleasure yourself in the journey.
ReplyDeleteAs we leave childhood, we begin to edit edit edit ourselves. I think this is an exercise in going back to that trust of just doing what you feel and want and watching it unfold. Allowing yourself to experiment. And look how boldly it turned out!!! Fantastic! Good for you.
