Day of the Dead

(For Big Contest Click Here
You can be the Winner!!)

My BFF in Tucson does a lot of those Sugar Skulls with the Day of the Dead Theme. She sent me a picture of this gal holding one of the Day of the Dead Skulls and I was so inspired by it I created this piece. I was going to paint the gals face all Day of the Deady but then decided to make her an innocent little girl with a Tee Shirt of the Day of the Dead skull.

Terri my BFF in Tucson does this artwork to honor her Daughter and Son who passed away. I don't know how she has carried on after these tragedies. I know I couldn't. I guess doing her artwork is kind of Therapy for her. My heart cries for her for sure!

In Terri's Honor here is my take of the Day of the Dead.

I'm joining Paint Party Friday this week
Head over there and see some fabulous work!

BTW Did you know you have word verification on? It makes it very difficult for people to comment.
