anywho again.. I created this Layout for a Challenge at Outlawz. It's a new Ning Group filled with Challenges. The Challenge was Stitching and Fabric.. I finally used my Sewing Machine. I've been wanting to but just was too lazy to do it. I love doing a Layout and putting stitching on it. I just don't do it often enough.

The Papers are from Basic Grays "Curio" Collection and yes you can get them at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium..

I love creating Tags!

Late last night I worked on this Tag and had a ball getting all dirty working with Distress Inks! I just love Creating Tags.. This tag started off as a white piece of paper. LOL  I cut the Tag out with My Cricut and then went to work.. First I stamped the numbers and then Embossed them with Pirates Gold Embossing Powder from Stampendous. After that was done with my Tim  Holtz Blending Tool and Distress inks I made the background. The embossing acts as a resist.  I then stamps on the left side of the tag. I adhered my little stamp and metal heart charm. I cut out the Flourish using Grunge Paper on my Cricut. Then I inked the Flourish with Distress Inks. You have to work the ink into the Grunge Paper. Once done I tried something new. Instead of just spraying it with "Heirloom Gold"  Perfect Pearls Mist I put a layer of Glossy Accents on and waited for that to dry. Then I sprayed it with the Perfect Pearls. I think it gave it a look like rust. It's got a shine and glimmer to it too. You can't tell in the picture. The last think I did was to ink the edges with "Walnut Stain" Distress Ink to give it a shadow. And Voila!! One Tag finished! I am really pleased how this came out. Like I said I love love creating tags!! Now I need to think of a way to Display them. Anyone got any ideas?

My New Magnolia are Here!!

Oh wow I received my two New Magnolia Stamps yesterday.. I now am a proud owner of two Tilda's! wooohooo.. I had to ink one up and play last night.. I'm still so new to using Copics. I got so frustrated the other night and told Jeanette I'm throwing them out the window.. But she convinced me to give it another go.. and I did.. LOL

Layout for my Nephew

Well I've been working hard today on this Layout I did. My Nephews Wedding has come and gone and I have a million and one pictures from it I'm scrapping as a special gift to them. Maybe I'll be done by their first Anniversary! LOL

The Background Paper is from Basic Grays Curio Paper Pack and yes we can get it at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium. The other papers were in my stash.

I used Tim Holtz Grunge Paper and my Cricut to make the Flourish. I love love that Grunge Paper. I used Distress Inks and Rangers Perfect Pearls Mist "Heirloom Gold" . You do have to shake that stuff up good..

I got the Lace at Wally World. I need to go back and get some more. They had a good selection of Lace.. The butterfly was cut from my Cuddlebug and embossed then inked with Distress Ink "Walnut Stain"

I might be recovering

Every day Jeanette and Susan ask me if I'm feeling any better. I say yes because it's early morning. By afternoon I'm in bed and feeling lousy.. I can't believe I have had this flu or cold over two weeks now. My nose is so raw it's going to fall off any minute!! Hey there it goes!! ROFLMAO.. Today I did feel better in the morning , we went over to Wally World to do some shopping and I was okay there also.. So maybe just maybe I have finally shaken this bug.. My nose is still running but my chest feels better, and I can breath again... wooohooo!!

And here is a Layout I created for a challenge over at Colorful Creations.. It was a sketch challenge.

The picture is my sister Barbara and my Nephew Matt. My Sister passed a number of years ago but I miss her every day. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of her. Those were some tough years. I lost my Mom and My Sister to Cancer. My Father passed before them.. It's just my Kid Sister Susan and I left. She lives in Florida and I don't get to see her much but I call all the time. It's funny we weren't close as kids but since our family is so small now we talk all the time.. Oh I'm rambling today!! LOL

Once again my Camera took a horrible picture. I tried to edit it in Photoshop but messed it all up. LOL I want a new camera but the one I want costs a fortune so I get to bitch about this one. ROFL

Still sick and hating it!

I'm still sick and I am miserable!! I can't believe this cold or the flu whatever it is has lasted this long! I started to feel better a few days ago and then bam back to being sick again! Tried to get into the doctor today and it snowed all day! We couldn't get out of the driveway so I had to cancel. Now I can't get in until next week! wooh is me! LMAO

Anywho I finished up this card tonight. I just had to get out of bed and do something!! Now I'm exhausted from doing it.  I just love this digital stamp by none other than ME.The name of it is " I Toadily Love you". LOL  Speaking about my Digital Stamps we will be moving the blog shop to a new Zen Cart shopping system. The Grand Opening is Monday the 24th. of January!! wooohoo  I will be having a big sale and giving away some papers and a digital stamp!! Be Watching for it!

I used my Cuddlebug for the embossing of the green cardstock and then cut down a strip of paper to make it look like grass. How ingenious of me!! LMAO

Soartful Challenges

I Created this Layout this morning. I forgot to put the border on I created for it.. Forgot to put the metal snowflakes on too.. Can you tell I'm not feeling well. I have another cold. My throat is sore and my head feels like it's going to burst. anywho here is the Layout I entered into a Challenge at Colorful Creations.

I'm very late with my entry to Soartful Challenges . I'll let Jeanette know I played along but I know I missed the deadline. anywho she gave everyone this really cool image but I didn't use it. duh and duh again. The theme was Celebrate.

I created this Tag using of coarse Tim Holtz Distress inks.After I added my Dictionary Paper to the tag I ran it through my Cuddlebug with Distressed Stripes embossing folder.. I stamped the flower than Heat Embossed it so it would pop out.. The corners I created with my cricut and also heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to give it a shine. The Jewel is from Timmy Too!! LOL I inked the edges with "Black Soot" distress ink..

Thanks for looking. I'm off to get under the covers and go to sleep until this cold goes away. LOL

Creating a Tag Tim Holtz Syle

We had a challenge in the Forum to create a tag using Tim Holtz Distress inks. I had such a great time creating this tag. My work mat and desk and almost the cat was covered in Ink and Glimmer Mist. LOL  not even saying how much ink I got on me!! ROFL

To create this tag I used Timmy's Distress Inks , two stamps and Ribbon from Bo Bunny.. Oh yeah and Momento ink - Tuxedo Black. You have to get yourself some of that for stamping. It's the best!!

You can't ever see the Glimmer Mist in pictures but it's shimmering away! LOL
