Playing last night in the wee hours

Last night we were suppose to have our Slumber Party, well thanks to good ole Duke energy we lost our power again during a storm and I  got there about 12:30.. Of coarse everyone was wondering where their fearless leader was.. I was soooo upset.. We are going to have the slumber party tonight and NO it is not suppose to rain today!! boooo on Duke Energy!!

After I finally cooled off from no air conditioning all night I was wired and not able to sleep so I crafted until about 3 in the morning..

Here is the card I made.. Of coarse I used my Prismas or Susan would have my head!! Am I getting any better at blending my colors... How do I know?? I can't see anyways!! ROFL  I think so DH (DUH HUBBY) did a ouuuu when I showed him this morning.. LOL

Oh did I tell everyone I have to quite smoking.. Yes it's finally come down to health reasons other than I'm killing myself slowly.. I took a Cat Scan a couple of weeks ago and it's turned up I have two spots on my lungs. Yup those great lungs that know how to scream and yell and say wooo hooo really loud are sickly.. I'm going to go on the patch on the 21st.  How am I going to do.. Probably lousy.. I'm addicted bad to nicotine both psychologically and physically. I have been smoking more since I found out.  My hubby is going to try to help as is Jeanette. We are going to stop together like maybe. or at least Jeanette and I will support each other in this plight. What I really want to do is go to rehab.. but I'm not a junkie, sex addict or alcholic so they won't take me. It's an addiction right?? I thought so so why is there no rehab.. They have rehab for everything nowadays. Ohhh i could go on an on forver about this.. I'm mad as hell and don't give a damn!! remember that movie.. what was the title.. so anywho if I'm cursing and cranky after the 21st. you all will know why...

Got in on a challenge

As everyone know I don't have time for many challenges besides the Forum and my own blogs but today I'm feeling like playing a little bit. Too lazy to work. I got in on a challenge at Delightful Sketches Challenge Blog.

Use Summer colors they said.. So I did.. I love this image.. I love Strawberries. The image is a RF Image and it is at the shop for 30% off right now.

I used my Prismas but I colored so lightly you can't see the different shades of pink or even the green. I need a new camera I think.. Ohhh hunny!! hunny! saying to the DH (DUH HUBBY).. please buy me a camera!! (batting my eyes) ROFL  Yeah right!!  never mind the camera buy me more pencils and some copics.. and, and, and!! LOL   I got a case of the I wants!! ROFL

I told Jeanette earlier I was off to take a nap and never made it.. It's so hot here you could melt.. If I was a witch I would.. I've been called a witch so maybe I did ?? LOL So anywho I'm off to see what other trouble I can get into.. Someone throw water at me so I can melt!! I'm melting, I'm melting!! (said with an evil voice) 

I think I'm gong daft today!! well maybe it was yesterday.. I dunno.. Have a wonderful weekend..

My Oriental Flop

I started this image at the crop the other night. Everything was going along okay until I put the glitter on, it didn't go the way I wanted to... Then I was cutting the image out in an oval and I cut her hair off!! okay to make matter worse she is too small for the card.. so I punted and came up with this design.. I don't like it much but it's for Stef of Glitterbabe's first challenge. I would start all over but I paper pieced it and used all the beautiful paper. It was a special order paper from a shop online that I have no idea who they are. booooo on me!!

Don't ya just love that flower though..  ROFL  I'm showing off the flower .. don't look at the rest of the card. LOL

Guess who is going to a crop tonight.. Little ole me!! My regular scrap store is not having theirs because of the holiday so I thunked I should head on over to Archievers and see the gals over there.. I haven't been there in about a year.. When I called to make a reservation the gal remembered me.. why you ask.. well get this story..

Before I found "A little bit More" scrapbook store I used to go every Friday to Archivers.. well one Friday I packed up all my gear and went over.. I started to unpack with a roomful of gals and all of a sudden I see a dead mouse in one of my bags of scraps. OMG I was mortified.. not only was it dead it smelled terrible!!! It Stunk the place up!!!.. One old bitty started to whine and scream about the smell.. Some gals complained loudly and I felt like going under a table and never coming out again!! Well a sales gal over their had the sense to get some spray to get the odor out and I quite quickly removed the dead mouse out to the street where all dead mice belong.. I left early that night.. I wonder why!! The one old bitty that complained really loud is now on my list to hunt down and tickle to death.. I could say worse but someone might report me to the scrap police!! Not only did this happen but the same night I spilled my coffee on a gals work in progress.. OMG now you know why a year later I am going to stick my head in the door and see if the coast is clear.. Maybe that old bitty moved to Oshkosh or Bum X%$^ Egypt!! or hell!! ROFL.. Now it's soooo funny when I think about it... I told that story to the gals at A little bit More scrap store one night and we were rolling on the floor laughing so hard!! 

I have never been so embarrassed in my whole life!! and I have done some really stupid things in my lifetime!!

Yes, when I pack up today I will check and recheck my bags for meeces!! We don't have any at the new house but maybe the ghost of the dead mouse will revisit me!! LOL  I shudder at the thought!! omg what if it happens again.. the worst of it is I can't just up and leave. My DH (DUH HUBBY) takes me as I don't drive anymore.. I have to call him to pick me up early and it's a long drive.. I would have to sit and suffer in my embarrassment like I did the first time!! OHHHH NOOOO MR. BILL!!!! please if there is a God of meeces let them all stay home and play I don't want no mo tall tails, tales like that one!!! LOL
